Bic has finally unveiled the Bic M1, a new mechanical pencil with a 4.4-inch wide nib, and a new line of premium mechanical pencil models.
The new Bic mechanical pens, which come with a Bic-branded Bic Micro Mechanical Pen and Bic Bic Electronic Mechanical Pen, will hit the market starting in the fourth quarter of next year.
The BicM1 will feature a 7-point, 8-gram nib with a 1.4 mm tip.
Bic says the Bics Bic micro mechanical pencil will offer “the same precision, precision and precision you’d find on a Bics pencil.”
The new mechanical pen has a 5-layer structure and weighs just under 1.5 ounces.
The pen features a 4-in-1 design, including a metal clip for attachment to a BIC M1.
Bics has also added an optional clip to the back of the BICM1.
A “bic” logo is on the pen, and the Bisto logo on the nib is also part of the design.
The company says the new mechanical pens are the culmination of the company’s partnership with Apple and Samsung.
“We’re excited to be working with Apple on the Biscuits app,” Bic CEO and co-founder Tim Clements said in a statement.
“The Biscuit app lets you share notes with friends and family on your favorite platforms, and Biscuests Bic is one of our most popular products.
We’re working hard to make Bic even more useful to you.”
Bic launched its Bic electronic mechanical pencil in 2017, and since then it has released an increasing number of high-quality mechanical pencil designs, which have gained popularity with customers.
Earlier this year, Bic introduced the Bikon mechanical pencil that can be used to sketch, edit, and create digital drawings.
The current lineup of Bic products includes the Bizpen, Bistol, Bixby, and Mini.
